Montserrat Videla Samper
"I’m an actor and theatre performance maker. I gravitate towards theatre that is primarily affective, dramatic, and imagistic. My biggest goal during my time at What Lab was to explore these elements of performance within the relationship of a mother and daughter. I did this largely by creating short performance images that would serve as research and experimentation for a larger work. I still don’t know exactly what this larger work will be, but my time at What Lab was critical in developing specificity towards it."
